Professional
CAD-CAM
This
exciting professional program combines CAD (Computer-Aided
Design) with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing).
Students will learn to use CAD and CAM software technology,
as well as become familiar with the skills needed to
plan, design and execute drawings in their Career Pathway
area of interest.
All students will study the areas of required competencies,
which will be connected to areas of specialty as determined
by student interest. The unique program design
incorporates team teaching, student project and portfolio,
as well as flexibility of time and class periods.
Students will benefit from direct connection with professionals
in their interest areas. |

DESCRIPTION:
As
part of this two-year program, students will be prepared
to communicate design information to business and industry
using CAD drawings. They will learn to convert
CAD drawings into computer instructions for Computer
Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines, which produce parts
for business and industry |
