The
exciting and dynamic field of electronics is full
of career opportunities. In this program,
students acquire a level of understanding from
basic electronics to electrical engineering.
These skills will help students find employment
as an electronic equipment installer, field engineer,
technician or instrument calibrator in many different
industries. This is a great program for
students who wish to enter the workforce immediately,
those who will get further training in technical
schools or the military or those majoring in electrical
or electronic engineering in college. |

DESCRIPTION:
If
you'd like to learn about electronics -- at your
own pace on a computer -- here's your chance.
You can set your own schedule, stay in the program
from one to three periods a day and take the course
for one semester or for two full school years.
It's all up to you! You'll get credit for
every period and semester you complete (from one
half to three credits each year). The skills
you gain will help you find a job in television
repair work or as an electronic equipment installer,
cable television installer, industrial controls
technician, electronic instrumentation calibrator
or a computer installer/technician. With
additional training and education, you can advance
to computer design work, electrical engineering
or be an electronic research technician. |
