Automotive Technologies

If you have good manual dexterity working with tools and you are interested in cars, a career in Automotive Technologies may be in your future.  After two years in this program, you will be able to diagnose and repair problems in a car's mechanical and electrical system.  

Students who have completed the program are now working as  technicians at car dealerships, service centers and automotive specialty shops.  Advanced job options include being a service manager, transmission specialist or field service technician.

DESCRIPTION:
After two years in this program, students will gain practical experience in basic diagnostic skills and become proficient in repair and maintenance of a car’s mechanical and electrical systems.  All students are required to purchase a tool kit to be used during the course and upon entry into the job market.  Completers of this program are now working as technicians at car dealerships, service centers and automotive specialty shops.  The program is NATEF certified and the instructors are ASE certified.
